Tule Bowl Making

Indigenous peoples used tule or bulrush in many ways, from sleeping mats to summer shelters and even boats. Join us to learn about this versatile plant while we weave a tule bowl.  Checkerweave and several forms of twining are taught. The bowl is then finished with a beautiful false braid rim.

This bowl makes a perfect bread basket for your table or vessel to nest your favorite yarns.
