To register for classes, download an application form and return your completed form with the appropriate non-refundable deposit (listed below).

To register for an in-depth program, submit the Earthwalk Northwest application along with a letter explaining your interest in the program. If your application is accepted, we will notify you and request a $500 deposit to reserve your spot at that time.

Registration Information:

Eligibility. Courses are open to adults 18 years or older unless otherwise indicated. Younger
students may participate in some courses when accompanied by an adult. Please contact us if you have any questions.

After Registration. Prior to the beginning of each course, you will receive a confirmation letter with travel instructions and any other pertinent information. Courses are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. We intentionally keep class sizes small to ensure detailed personal instruction. If there is more interest than space available, we will try to schedule additional classes. Because of our policy of not overbooking courses, we sometimes have openings due to last minute cancellations. Don’t hesitate to call if you are interested.

Financial Policy:

Payment. Payment is due in full at the time of enrollment for all one-day classes and the Gathering. Payment may be made in the form of cash, personal check, traveler’s check, or money orders drawn on a US bank. We also accept Visa or Master Card. Make checks payable to Earthwalk Northwest, Inc.

Single-day classes. For most single-day classes, full payment is due at the time of application. Any outstanding balances are due one week prior to the start date unless prior arrangements have been made.

Multi-day, weekend, and overnight classes. Deposits for multi-day, weekend, and overnight classes are $200.  Non-refundable deposits are applied toward your total course or program cost.

In-depth programs. Deposits for the in-depth programs are $500. These deposits are non-refundable and are applied toward your total course or program cost. Students in the apprenticeship programs may pay in full or make monthly payments.

Refunds. Full refunds are made only in the rare event that we have to cancel a course. If you must cancel an overnight course, your $200 non-refundable deposit may be transferred to another overnight course on a one time-basis. The transfer must be made to a course that occurs within one year of the original course and you must notify us at least two weeks prior to the start of the course. We cannot transfer deposits for cancellations made within less than two weeks of the program start date.

Discounts. Students who enroll in the dual apprenticeships of Ancestral Living Skills and Ethnobotany receive a discount of $500 off the combined cost of those programs.

In-depth Programs. Students in the in-depth programs are asked to sign payment contracts that guarantee tuition will be paid for the entire course, once accepted. Students may pay in full upfront, or opt for one of several payment options over the course of the apprenticeship program.
