Nature awareness & sign tracking
In this course, students are guided through progressive exercises to help open and deepen all of their senses. Learn how to move quietly and unnoticed across the landscape, allowing you to observe wildlife without alarming it. While on guided walks, study a variety of animal signs, learning to identify specific markings including chews, rubs, scrapes, hair, and scat.
Workshops in animal track identification include making an extensive collection of plaster casts to take home with you. A variety of awareness techniques are demonstrated and practiced, enabling you to get closer to wildlife and deepen your connection to nature so as to fully partake in its beauty.
Delicious meals, course materials, and on-site tenting are included.
