Bushcraft Fire Making: Bow Drill and Beyond

Classes are open to previous or current Tracker School students and held at the Tracker Primitive Camp Sat, May 12th 3pm - Sun, May 13th 12pm.  The cost for each program is $ 150. Hardy dinner and breakfast meals are included, as well as all program materials.

This program takes you beyond the primitive to explore alternative and viable methods of creating fire in emergency conditions. Flint and steel, ferrous rods, magnesium blocks as well as other unique methods not only will be taught but dedicated workshop time will be overseen so that each participant can become proficient in a diversity of techniques. Learning these skills offers many options to choose from in emergency conditions. Frank Sherwood of Earthwalk Northwest will guide this informative hands-on workshop. In addition to great  meals provided , students will take home fire making kits to continue practicing beyond the program. included in these kits will be a container of the very effective "fire balls".
