Quivers not only provide a strong container to protect and store your arrows, but can be quite beautiful as well. In this class, students create their own quivers following the traditions of Northwest Coast first peoples. In this class, red cedar is carved and sanded to shape using draw knives, adzes and hand chisels. Completed quivers are then oiled and finished with a fur rim to further protect and silence your arrows. Leather to complete a carry strap adds the final touch.
