This bullrush bowl utilizes the elements of checker-weave, basic or two-strand twining, three-strand twining, and a braided rim to form a simple, yet beautiful basket. By adding personal embellishments, each basket becomes an extension of the weaver. While the same pattern is followed by each person, no two will be exactly alike. We celebrate the beauty in all. Finished baskets will be about 14 inches across and 4 1/2 inches deep. I use many of mine frequently for homemade rolls at the dinner table or to hold my newest knitting project. Yours, too, can hold a lifetime of wonderful things.
