Join this class to learn to identify which of our local wild plants can be added to your next breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Northwest wild plants expert and Washington native Karen Sherwood will guide an informative trail walk teaching how to identify, sustainably harvest, and prepare local, wild cuisine. The class will then return to the classroom kitchen to prepare pre-harvested wild plants to sample in class. Some of Karen’s favorite wild foods recipes she has created over the last 30 years will be shared.
