Bushcraft Fire Making

Proficient fire making skills can make the difference between a dreary wilderness experience or the highlight of your year.  Join our team to learn techniques to quickly build and maintain cheery fire, even under adverse Northwest conditions.  Survival experts will demonstrate proper techniques of fire making using bow and drill, flint and steel, ferrocerium rods, as well as a variety of other methods.  Students will then move into hands on workshop to practice these skills.  Impress your friends on your next wilderness outing by showing your new found fire making abilities.  Each participant will take home class handouts, fire by friction kit and a container of the infamous "Fire Balls".
