Soap and Knit: The Gifts of the Pasture Land

This class weaves together the gifts of the goat as we learn to make goat milk soap, as well as learn to knit using natural fibers.  This unique class is sponsored by Earthwalk Northwest and brings together the incredible talents of Susan Gehringer of Grist Creative.  The unique and luxuriant qualities of goat milk soap pair beautifully with the washcloth that students will learn to knit in class.  This is a great program not only for beginning knitters, but for those wishing to make a beautiful cloth for themselves to enjoy or a lovely gift for a special friend.  Students will depart class with the equivalent of 5 bars of goat milk soap, newly knit washcloth, and the knowledge to create many more.  We hope you will join us for this fun day
